Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 March 2026

These terms govern your use of Blurb ("the Service"), provided by Blurb, based in Ireland. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Blurb is a publishing platform that connects your Notion workspace to a public-facing blog. We sync your content, apply SEO optimisations, and host your blog on a subdomain or custom domain. The Service requires a Notion account and an active subscription after the trial period.

2. Account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. One account per person; you may not share accounts.

3. Subscription and billing

  • Free trial: new accounts receive a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial.
  • Billing: after the trial, your chosen plan is billed monthly or annually in advance. Billing is handled by Stripe.
  • Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.
  • Price changes: we will give at least 30 days notice before changing plan prices. Changes take effect at your next renewal.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods or unused subscription time. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 14 days at support@blurb.sh and we will review it.

5. Your content

You own all content you publish through Blurb. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and deliver your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service. We do not use your content for any other purpose, including AI training.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Publish illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Send unsolicited commercial email (spam)
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Reverse-engineer or scrape the platform
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, apply updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any losses caused by downtime.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blurb is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
